Last.fm is a highly recommended app for any music enthusiast. It is basically a music recommendation engine. It works by taking the data from the songs you listen to and recommending similar artist/bands. Now this isn't something new with what they are doing, but the way Last.fm is going about it is what makes it revolutionary. Last.fm is now including their software in other applications. So for example when a user plugs their iPod up to their computer it will "scrobble" their songs to the Last.fm server and uses they dating in a "social networking sense" to give out its recommendations. If you are looking to find new music/songs/artists/bands this is the best route to go.

My obsession for music is no surprise. Now recently since I've switched over to a Mac computer, I've been stuck using f*cking iTunes. iTunes is horrible considering the fact that they have some many limitations because of their agreements and DRM. I've searched for an alternative and I finally found Songbird.

It is built on the same platform as Mozilla's Firefox so it right away got mad respect from me. The engine it runs on is Gecko so it has the same capabilities with adding "Add-On/Extensions" as Firefox. It has useful features such as Concert Tickets and also things like incorporating Lyrics,Flickr, and even Youtube videos. One of my favorite features though is the fact that it includes a browser. Check out Songbird....it is definitely worth the download.

Aiight so I put out a few new beats on my Youtube page to check out. I'm gonna include a link later on today. The new material is a little different but I think looking at the recent releases from other artist....I feel my shit is definitely gonna be hot. I been looking to incorporate Apple's Logic software more into my production. Their Logic software is one of the most powerful in the industry. If I start messing around with Logic than my production game would go to a whole 'nother LEVEL!

YooOOOoOOoo.....so its been sometime since my last post but I been pretty busy doing studio work. In doing so...I've come to this conclusion...I DON'T WORK WELL WITH OTHERS! Now that shit is a bold statement for somebody to make and its probaly not entirely true but throughout each studio session I've recently had..I've found my self more and more frustrated because I working with "KNOW IT ALLS"....Now I won't mention any names but some people just think they can walk in a studio and just go straight at it. Now thats all fine and well...and I respect that attitude...but to that I can say...and as bad as this sounds...KNOW YOUR PLACE...there's shit that I'll admit that I'm not good at and I'll be the first to admit it...and being able to take criticism is a skill that not everybody has and I guess I can't be mad at that......

I woke up this morning and saw this video before I took off to work....at first its confusing as shit but gets good at the end...Jake Nava, the director of the video has great vision...look to see his work in the future...

Many people assume they aren't rich because they don't earn enough money. If I only earned a little more, I could save and invest better, they say.

The problem with that theory is they were probably making exactly the same argument before their last several raises. Becoming a millionaire has less to do with how much you make, it's how you treat money in your daily life.

The list of reasons you may not be rich doesn't end at 10. Caring what your neighbors think, not being patient, having bad habits, not having goals, not being prepared, trying to make a quick buck, relying on others to handle your money, investing in things you don't understand, being financially afraid and ignoring your finances.

Here are 10 more possible reasons you aren't rich:

You care what your car looks like: A car is a means of transportation to get from one place to another, but many people don't view it that way. Instead, they consider it a reflection of themselves and spend money every two years or so to impress others instead of driving the car for its entire useful life and investing the money saved.

You feel entitlement: If you believe you deserve to live a certain lifestyle, have certain things and spend a certain amount before you have earned to live that way, you will have to borrow money. That large chunk of debt will keep you from building wealth.

You lack diversification: There is a reason one of the oldest pieces of financial advice is to not keep all your eggs in a single basket. Having a diversified investment portfolio makes it much less likely that wealth will suddenly disappear.

You started too late: The magic of compound interest works best over long periods of time. David Kernell, University of Tennessee student and son of Tennessee Democratic state representative Mike Kernell, has now been indicted by a grand jury in Knoxville Tennessee. What started as a prank that Kernell laughingly bragged about in an online forum has now become a nightmare that may land the 20-year-old in prison. Kernell, as you may recall, allegedly used Yahoo’s password reset mechanism to change the password for one of Governor Palin’s email accounts and then posted the new password on 4chan.org along with screen shots of her email. The FBI conducted an investigation with the help of ISP Parlov Media, cTunnel webmaster Gabriel Ramuglia and others that quickly lead them to Kernell, who reportedly fled the scene during an initial FBI raid of his on-campus residence. Earlier today, Kernell willingly turned himself in to the FBI and is scheduled to be arraigned before the day is through. It was initially believed that the culprit of the Palin email invasion would likely face a misdemeanor charge but the situation is much more serious in fact. If convicted, Kernell faces up to five years in prison and a fine to the tune of $250,000.

Above is the first spy shot of the new Macbooks that will be using Apple's new "Brick" process....if I understand this correctly Apple recently built a manufacturing plant in America so they wouldn't have to outsource. The process basically takes a big chunk of aluminum (or whatever metal they using these days) and cuts the entire chuck down into the shape/dimensions that they need. This saves on energy and makes a more reliable machine....the entire process is game changing....

I'm almost done laying down the drums and a few other things for the beat I was working on last week. Also last night had a sit down w/ my boy Pierre on a sick ass concept for a song. The sample is gonna be SICK...using traditional sampling style and unique drums I'm producing a track that is guaranteed to be fiyaaaahhhh....I'll be uploading a un-mastered version of the track late Sunday. Idea: running a chopped sample through auto-tune???? CREATIVITY IS KEY!

People not familiar with what WIMAX is should be....it will eventually replace our traditional cable internet. After all the years.....Rap City is going to be cancelled...."Rap City" was created by BET veejay and producer Alvin Jones, also known as "The Unseen VJ." Jones originally hosted an R&B-flavored BET show, "Video Vibrations," and "Rap City" was an extension of the "Rap Week" segment there. I honestly didn't watch the show as much as some people prolly did but this is still messed up to see.....but it looks like its a trend or something...MTV is also cancelling TRL after its long run....we are slowly but surely moving into a "complete digital age"........

T.I. recently released his newest album Paper Trail.....in my honest opinion I would give this album a 8/10....I was not expecting this album to be so damn fiyah...T.I. really switched things up and this album deserves to sell. The production on the album was sick...T.I. went out and worked with a few new producers whom he hasn't ever worked with before...tracks like "Whatever you like" and "Live your life" are gonna be certified bangers! Overall there were like only two tracks on the CD that I wasn't really feeling...highly recommended......

Dear Chicago Cubs......what da FUCK happend yesterday!? Now technically I should be a Sox fan because I was born on the southside of Chicago and I was taken to Sox games as a youngin but I got mad love for the Cubs.....and after yesterdays performance in the first game of the playoffs....I'm a lil' worried...that damn pitching from Dempster was down right horrible...dude pitched like damn near 7 balls in a row???
